Dianrong and FinEX Asia announced the launch of Asia’s first financial technology asset management platform.

Finex Asia was established in 2017 to connect Asian investors with U.S. consumer lending assets, such as credit card loans and Dianrong is a prominent player in online marketplace lending in China.

The pair are combining risk management expertise with advanced fintech capabilities to offer investors in Asia access to a diverse and attractive portfolio of U.S. consumer lending assets.

«In collaboration with Dianrong, we have developed a versatile platform that gives investors seamless access to the U.S. consumer lending asset class and facilitates their investments with real-time monitoring and scenario-planning tools,» said Maggie Ng, founder and CEO of Finex Asia.

Dianrong recently raised $220 million in a series D round of funding. Among its investors are GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, while Standard Chartered Private Equity has also made a strategic investment in the firm.
