UBS has hired an industry veteran with over 23 years of investment banking experience in Asia and the U.S., to take on the new role across Asia Pacific.
Randy Gelber will join Switzerland's leading banking group as a Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecom for Asia-Pacific based in Hong Kong at the beginning of April.
Gelber heads to UBS from SMBC Nikko, where he was the Head of Investment Banking, Americas based in New York.
Prior to that role Gelber spent several years with Barclays Investment Bank in both Hong Kong and New York as Managing Director, Head of Technology Services. Before that he held the position of Head of Asia Technology at Merrill Lynch.
