Japanese Insurer, Capgemini Ink India Tech Center Deal
Japanese insurer Dai-ichi Life and business transformation expert Capgemini will join hands to form a tech center in India.
Dai-ichi Life Group and Capgemini have signed a multi-year agreement to establish a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, according to a statement, which will aim to support and enhance the Japanese insurer’s IT and digital strategies.
This strategic collaboration, which initially spans Japan, the United States and Australia, will leverage the GCC’s digital capabilities including advanced software development, infrastructure modernization, AI & data solutions and robust cybersecurity measures.

Dai-ichi Life Group was founded in 1902 as Japan’s first mutual life insurance company. Today, it serves over 50 million customers across Asia Pacific and North America while managing approximately $430 billion in consolidated assets.
