Swiss-headquartered additiv announced on Thursday that Singapore-based Pieter Zylstra will move into the role of general manager at the company's Asia Pacific (APAC) division, effective 22 November.

Zylstra has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in the technology and telecoms sector and joined additiv in 2020 to head its strategic sales and then moved to lead sales in APAC. He was previously regional director of digital transformation at Orange Business Services.

Important Market

«There has never been a more disruptive time in the financial services industry, particularly in APAC, and digital wealth management is no exception. With client demographics changing rapidly, and new market players emerging, there is now a different expectation as to how and where wealth management services should be offered,» Zylstra said in the announcement.

Asia is additiv’s second-largest market after Europe and the wealth management fintech's APAC division has seen a period of rapid growth over the past year, Michael Stemmle, CEO and dounder of additiv, said.
