Singlife's PROPEL Names Tech Chief
PROPEL with Singlife, a shared services hub for financial advisory firms, has hired a chief technology officer with almost 20 years of experience.
With over 18 years of experience in financial services and digital transformation across ASEAN, Terry Chen will lead PROPEL’s technology strategy, focusing on enhancing platform capabilities to deliver seamless, scalable solutions and improved user experiences for financial advisory (FA) firms.
Chen’s mandate includes optimising operational efficiency, refining user experience, and driving innovation in PROPEL’s digital platform, which streamlines middle-to-back-office operations. CEO Steven Ong highlighted that Chen’s appointment underscores the company’s commitment to building a reliable and future-ready platform.
Before joining PROPEL, Chen was a principal at Boston Consulting Group and previously held senior roles at Accenture. His experience includes large-scale digital transformations for regional financial institutions, covering digital platforms, cloud, AI, and tech modernisation.
