UBS Integrates Two Mobile Banking Platforms
In a move to create a «unified digital client experience», UBS has integrated two mobile platforms into a single touchpoint.
UBS has integrated two online platforms – UBS Mobile Banking and Circle One by UBS – according to a statement. The integrated app was co-created with 100 pilot clients in Singapore and Hong Kong earlier this year with the aim of «creating a single and unified digital client experience for clients».
Circle One was launched in 2022 for UBS' wealth management clients in Asia Pacific. The platform delivers content based on the house view of the bank’s chief investment office through videos, podcasts, interactive live webinars and more. Currently, it has more than 4,300 episodes published and over 2 million minutes of content viewed.
Digital Trends
According to Michele Lim, head of Circle One and APAC business lead of UBS digital banking, there are three digital trends observed from clients.
First, digital savviness is on the rise with 75 percent of equity trades now executed online. Second, they are trading on the move with 60 percent year-on-year growth in mobile banking online transactions. Third, expectations for speed and convenience are higher than ever.
«With this integration, we’re delivering an elevated digital experience that meets their evolving needs — and those of future generations,» Lim said.
