Temasek Trust has launched a digital platform in partnership with UBS and DBS to match funders with philanthropic opportunities.

Temasek Trust has formed a strategic partnership with DBS Foundation and UBS Optimus Foundation to build Co-Axis – a digital platform for philanthropic opportunities – according to a statement.

The platform will connect funders such as family offices, corporate entities, philanthropists, high net worth individuals and private foundations with early-stage businesses, charitable organizations, and blended finance projects with «strong impact potential».

Philanthropic Opportunities

The platform will feature more than 70 impact opportunities from over 40 countries. The opportunities span social enterprises, impact ventures, non-profit organizations, research and corporates. A range of financial instruments with a philanthropic focus are also available on the platform.

«By unlocking risk capital and blending financing across the capital spectrum, and harnessing the power of community, Co-Axis will help early-stage impact innovators survive and thrive,» said Temasek Trust CEO Desmond Kuek.

Other Partners

In addition to UBS and DBS, Co-Axis will also collaborate with 13 industry partners, including knowledge and community partners.

«We invite others to join us – whether as a funder, founder, knowledge, or community partner – to drive positive impact at speed and at scale,» Kuek added.
