HSBC CEO Noel Quinn’s compensation totaled 10.6 million British pounds ($13.4 million) in 2023, according to the bank’s annual report. This is nearly double the pay of 5.56 million pounds in 2022.

The increased salary was linked to long-term incentives that began to vest. Overall, the bonus pool for employees rose 12 percent with payouts rising to $3.7 billion.
