HSBC's Private Bank Names APAC Wealth Planning Head
The private banking arm of HSBC has announced an internal promotion to the role of regional wealth planning head for Asia.
HSBC Global Private Banking has appointed Ann Ling as regional head of wealth planning and advisory, Asia Pacific, according to a statement, effective July 1. Based in Hong Kong, she will report to Lok Yim, APAC regional head of private banking.
Ling has more than 20 years of financial services experience. She first joined HSBC in 2019 and is currently team head of wealth planning for Hong Kong, Philippines and international markets. Prior to that, she held senior wealth planning roles at J.P. Morgan and UBS. She also previously worked at Morgan Stanley and Ernst & Young.
