The two firms have announced a partnership to support sustainable economic growth and make financing more accessible to companies on Ariba Network, the world's largest digital business network.

Software and information technology services company SAP Ariba is partnering Standard to offer the bank's financial supply chain solutions in Asia Pacific through Ariba Network, the two firms said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

Buyers on Ariba Network, which connects more than 4.2 million companies globally, will be able to manage payments and supply chain finance needs on the SAP Ariba platform, while suppliers will be able to get financing and foreign exchange more easily through Standard Chartered's global network.

Facilitating Supply Chain Integration

The strategic collaboration will facilitate the digitalization of the entire supply chain and make the procure-to-pay process easy, efficient and seamless, the statement said.

«Our goal is to make life easier for our clients and their ecosystems, and as their businesses evolve, so do we,» said Lisa Robins, global head of Transaction Banking, Standard Chartered, about the deal.
