Merger Creates Agile Asia Platform for Entrepreneurial Wealth

Two of Singapore’s premier wealth firms are joining forces in a strategic merger set to reshape the landscape for high-net-worth families across Asia, as finews.asia has learned. The combination will create a powerful, tech-driven family office platform with a sharp entrepreneurial edge.

Lumen Capital Investors (LCI), a long-established multi-family office and asset manager, is merging with Aument Capital Group’s Wealth Division, a boutique provider focused on entrepreneurial families.

As part of the deal, Aument acquires a strategic stake in LCI and fully integrates its family office and discretionary wealth management services into the LCI platform. No details were disclosed regarding the purchase price.

The combined entity will operate under the Lumen Capital Investors name and aims to become Asia’s go-to independent wealth platform, offering consolidated reporting, flexible mandates, and tailored family office solutions.

The strategic fit is clear: LCI brings a decade of independent asset management experience, open architecture solutions, and deep custodian bank relationships. Aument contributes its deep understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset, institutional-grade tech infrastructure, and personalized administrative support.

«This merger is a natural evolution,» Wilfried Kofmehl, Founding Partner and Chairman of LCI, said. «We’re combining trusted wealth management with tech-enabled, entrepreneur-focused services that cover the full spectrum of our clients’ needs.»

Importantly, both firms' leadership teams will remain in place, ensuring continuity and service excellence during the transition. Clients will benefit from expanded capabilities without disruption, as integration is being managed carefully to preserve relationships and performance.

Dominic Schacher, CEO and Founder of Aument Capital, sees the merger as a launchpad: «Our clients gain access to decades of investment experience and scale, while we retain our innovative, tech-first DNA.»

Poised for Growth in Asia’s Booming Wealth Market

This merger creates one of the most complete independent wealth management platforms in Singapore, just as demand for bespoke family office solutions accelerates across the region. With support from Carret Private Capital in North Asia, the platform is positioned to scale rapidly and introduce new services.

The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2025, pending regulatory approval.
