KGI Hires Ex-HSBC Executive to Bolster Wealth Planning
Taiwan-based KGI has hired a former HSBC executive as a managing director for its wealth management business in Hong Kong.
KGI has appointed Aaron Long as managing director, wealth management, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to head of international wealth management James Wey.
Long has extensive experience in China and the US, including at HSBC where he scaled its China wealth management business and served as the inaugural CEO of its life insurance brokerage firm. Previously, he also worked at Manulife, AIG and Aflac.
