BOS Hires Alts Expert to Focus on UHNW Solutions
The private banking arm of OCBC has hired an alternatives expert from the wealth industry to help strengthen its capabilities in bespoke solutions for ultra-rich clients.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Bernard Heng as head of customized solutions, according to a statement, effective March 2 and reporting to Lim Leong Guan, global head of investment solutions group. In the role, he will lead the development, management, and execution of complex product and bespoke solutions, with a focus on ultra-high net worth clients.
Heng has extensive experience in wealth management and private banking, having held senior roles at UBS and Credit Suisse, including managing director and global co-head of the private and alternatives group. Previously, he was also principal and head of Southeast Asia private financing at Apollo Management.
