Amy Lo
At the helm of Asia’s largest private bank by assets under management is Amy Lo, UBS’s APAC co-head of wealth management and Hong Kong CEO. She has over 30 years of industry experience, including 28 years with UBS where she played an instrumental role in developing its leading position in servicing ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals and family offices in the region.
Beyond her contributions at UBS, Lo is a notably active voice in Hong Kong’s broader private banking industry as the Private Wealth Management Association’s executive committee chair and Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council’s board member. She is also a member of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Education Bureau and the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Angel Ng
While not a private banker by training, Angel Ng is a renowned heavyweight in the broader wealth management industry. Ng has spent her entire career at Citi, joining the American lender in 1998 and steadily climbing up the ranks to become Hong Kong consumer banking head in 2015 and Hong Kong and Macau CEO in 2018.
In April 2022, Citi named Ng as APAC head of global wealth management to oversee a newly consolidated unit that serves private clients across segments, from affluent to UHNW individuals.
