Kam-Shing Kwang

According to Kam-Shing Kwang, her decision to become a money manager was sparked by a love for mathematics and an auditing assignment that incidentally exposed her to the world of investing during a brief stint at the now-defunct Arthur Andersen.

Thereafter, she would kickstart her investment career with UOB and HSBC before joining J.P. Morgan in 1998 as its head of investment management in Hong Kong.

After taking on various senior roles at the US lender, Kwang was appointed as the Asia CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2017. She was also named vice chair of investment banking for Greater China in 2019.
