She brings over 30 years of experience as a banker, risk management expert and advisor to CEOs.

DBS has announced the appointment of Judy Lee, 53, as a non-executive and independent director to the boards of DBS Holdings (DBSH) and DBS Bank, effective 4 August 2021.

«Her visionary leadership will be invaluable to the board at a time of significant change in our industry, and as DBS seeks to drive the sustainability agenda forward,» Peter Seah, chairman of DBSH and DBS Bank, said in an announcement on Wednesday.

Extensive Experience

Lee brings extensive and deep insights in banking and risk management, with years of experience in sustainable finance and investments. Within banking, she has worked in trading, capital markets and derivatives. In quantitative risk management she has been a pioneer, practitioner and advisor across all risk types and industries, DBS said.

She is currently the managing director of Dragonfly, an international risk advisory firm based in New York, and CEO of Dragonfly Capital Ventures, which develops and invests in renewable energy in Southeast Asia.

Previously, she was partner at global financial services solutions firm Capco and partner at strategy and risk management consulting firm Capital Market Risk Advisors, and developed quantitative risk methodologies in the late 1980s at Bankers Trust.
