7. Stay Up to Date
Professional photos should be renewed as frequently as every two years. Just as it is difficult to reconcile an artificially perfect picture with a real person in everyday life, it can be dispiriting to meet someone in person who looks dramatically younger on LinkedIn.
The same goes for major changes in appearance – if you chopped off your long hair and died it blonde, or achieved a major weight loss, you need new photos.
