Yuno Plants Flag in China and Singapore

Yuno, a fast-scaling payment orchestration platform founded by the entrepreneurs behind Rappi, is accelerating its global growth with new operations in China and a regional headquarters in Singapore.

The expansion cements its ambition to simplify cross-border commerce for merchants worldwide and to power the next stage of digital payments innovation, the firm noted in a media release on Friday.

Most Advanced Digital Economies

With its entry into China, Yuno is offering merchants seamless access to the global digital economy. A single API connects to more than 1,000 payment methods and over 450 providers across 195 countries, all backed by built-in compliance and smart routing.

«China is one of the world’s most advanced digital economies, and its merchants are increasingly going global,» said SheueChee Beh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Yuno in APAC. «We’re proud to partner with Chinese brands to remove the friction in cross-border payments and help them scale confidently on the world stage.»

Singapore Anchors APAC Growth

Singapore will now serve as Yuno’s regional headquarters, anchoring its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital commerce regions. From here, Yuno will deepen partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, and global merchants such as NetEase Games.

By joining the Singapore Fintech Association and Emerging Payment Association Asia, Yuno is strengthening alignment with the city-state’s regulatory framework. Its presence also provides direct access to a vibrant ecosystem of banks, fintechs, and talent—ensuring rapid rollout of new products across the region.

Turning Friction Into Growth

Alongside its expansion, Yuno unveiled NOVA, its agentic AI suite designed to transform failed payments into recovered revenue. Using WhatsApp and phone outreach in over 70 languages, NOVA dynamically adapts conversations to customer responses, lifting recovery rates by up to 75 percent in pilot tests.

Early adopters such as Rappi reported an 8 percent boost in payment recovery, while retailers and digital platforms across APAC are next in line to benefit.

«Coupled with the launch of NOVA, Yuno is driving the charge towards agentic commerce, proactively solving merchant issues, all without manual intervention,» said Yuno Co-founder and CEO Juan Pablo Ortega.

Trusted by Global Giants

Already powering payments for brands like McDonald’s, Uber, GoFundMe, inDrive, NetEase Games, and Rappi, Yuno is positioning itself as the go-to partner for enterprises navigating complex global markets.

With its APAC hub in Singapore and new operations in China, the company is setting the pace for a new era of intelligent, frictionless payments.
