HSBC Appoints Private Banking COO for Asia
The private banking arm of London-headquartered HSBC has appointed an operations chief for Asia.
HSBC has appointed Benoit Douchin as chief operating officer (COO), global private banking (GPB), Asia Pacific, according to a statement, effective July 21. In the role, he will report to APAC GPB head Lok Yim and Jean Nabaa, COO, international wealth and premier banking ad interim and COO, GPB & wealth and premier solutions.
Douchin has more than 15 years of private banking experience and has been serving in his position on an ad interim basis. Moving forward, he will continue in the role with a specific focus on operational capabilities and efficiency, technology platform and digital journeys. Previously, he also held other private banking roles at HSBC in Europe and Asia.
