What it is:
A posthumous collection of the late Leftist critic's writings on society, politics, and culture under late capitalism, including several interviews with the author and his introduction to the unfinished manuscript Acid Communism - a theory for raising social and political consciousness.
Why I recommend it:
Fisher is one of the most erudite writers to document the networked age and the ideology of capitalist realism. He makes clear the current dystopian reality but highlights the utopian potential of art and music.
