An ex-Citi banker is relocating from New York to Hong Kong to become the commercial chief of HSBC’s wealth management business.

HSBC has appointed Valentín Valderrábano as chief commercial officer, international wealth and premier banking (IWPB), according to a statement, effective February 20.
