Lighthouse Canton Expands Wealth Advisory Strength in Singapore
Two senior appointments bolster cross-border capabilities for ultra-wealthy clients.
Global investment institution Lighthouse Canton has strengthened its Key Clients and Institutions Wealth Advisory team with two senior hires in Singapore. Abhinav Mahajan joins as Managing Director, while April Wagner takes on the role of Vice President.
Both appointments underline the firm’s continued push to grow its cross-border advisory and capital solutions platform, according to a media release sent on Monday.
Trusted Advisor for Asia’s Wealthiest Families
Abhinav Mahajan (pictured above) brings more than two decades of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Having lived in Singapore for 17 years, he previously spent 12 years at Bank Julius Baer as Senior Banker, following leadership roles at Bank of Singapore and HSBC. His career has centred on building long-term, trusted relationships with prominent families and single-family offices across multiple regions.
Deep Expertise in Bespoke Wealth Solutions
April Wagner adds over 20 years of experience to Lighthouse Canton’s team, with more than 16 years dedicated to advising ultra-wealthy families across Non-Resident Indian, Asian, and European markets.
Her track record includes senior positions at Bank Julius Baer, Standard Chartered Private Bank, and most recently at Eightstone. She is recognised for her expertise in bespoke investment structuring, estate planning, and multi-jurisdictional wealth solutions.
Expanding Leadership
The new hires come as Lighthouse Canton continues to expand its market leadership. Earlier this year, the firm announced a strategic cooperation with Swiss-based Blue Sail Partners to deliver sophisticated financial solutions across Asia, India, the Middle East, and Europe.
The firm also advised Lotus One Investment on its SGD 80 million acquisition of Duxton Reserve Singapore, part of a broader hospitality and real estate portfolio strategy.
Portfolio-Level Approach to Wealth
Lighthouse Canton sets itself apart with what it calls «portfolio-level thinking»—integrating exposure across real estate, private equity, and structured investments into cohesive, system-wide solutions.
Its approach combines seamless execution of complex transactions with both local expertise and global institutional capabilities, ensuring clients benefit from comprehensive, cross-border strategies.
Global Platform With Local Depth
Headquartered in Singapore, Lighthouse Canton has grown into a global platform over the past decade, with offices in Dubai, India, and the UK. The firm today oversees more than $4 billion in assets under management and advisory, supported by a team of over 200 professionals.
Its unique proposition lies in combining wealth management, asset management, and investment banking capabilities for private clients under one roof – an offering few independent firms can match.
