Broadridge Names Head of International Market Advocacy

Financial technology solutions provider Broadridge has named a new executive in charge of advocacy in international markets, including APAC.

Broadridge has appointed Michael McPolin as head of international market advocacy, according to a statement. In the role, he will lead the firm’s market advocacy efforts across EMEA and APAC, working with regulators, industry associations and strategic clients to «ensure the voice of the customer shapes regulatory and market structure developments». Based in London, he reports to Stephanie Clarke, head of international strategy and corporate development.

McPolin has nearly 30 years of senior-level experience within the securities services industry, having held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan and HSBC before joining Broadridge in 2020 as part of its leadership team for bank and broker-dealer solutions.

«Michael’s extensive experience and deep industry knowledge will be instrumental as we advance our international market expansion goals,» said Clarke. «His ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build strategic relationships will be fundamental to empowering client and industry growth across our core segments of capital markets, asset management and securities services.»
