HSBC Appoints Southeast Asia GTS Head
London-based HSBC has announced a senior appointment in the region within its global trade solutions business.
HSBC has appointed Runa Baksi as head of Southeast Asia for global trade solutions (GTS), according to a statement. In the role, she will oversee the bank’s GTS business across Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Baksi has over 20 years of experience in banking and trade finance, most recently as managing director and country head of GTS for HSBC India. Before joining HSBC, she held senior leadership roles in trade and transaction banking at DBS, Receivables Exchange of India and Deutsche Bank.
