The investment management arm of real estate firm CBRE has hired a former J.P. Morgan executive to lead its regional logistics operator division.

Daniel McDonald joins CBRE IM as managing director and head of the APAC logistics operator division, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will manage the firm’s logistics and data center operations in the region.

McDonald has over 20 years of real estate experience, most recently at J.P. Morgan as head of Australia and New Zealand fund management APAC real estate. Previously, he also held senior roles at Goodman, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.

As of 30 September 2022, CBRE IM had $143.9 billion in assets under management, operating in over 30 offices and 20 countries worldwide.
