«This is an important milestone for us and a reassurance to our training and development efforts in the region. We are deeply honored by this prestigious award,» Roger Nagler, director of Marché Restaurants Singapore, said.

Marché is a subsidiary company under Marché International, a global, innovative catering company with its roots in Switzerland. It has 180 businesses under its arm, managing over 2,800 employees in 11 countries.

Preparing for Industry 4.0

«Putting strong emphasis on the human factor and on talent development is key for preparing our society for industry 4.0», Tom Ludescher, Chairman of SwissCham, said. «Marché is a great example of adopting this model to the needs of the Singaporean market. Talent management and investing in the great local talent pool is not only becoming crucial for building up a sustainable business, but also warmly welcomed,» he added.

Marché adopts a unique European marketplace concept, where dishes are prepared before your eyes. Guests get to watch the entire cooking process, from choosing the ingredients right up to when their food is served to them.
