Standard Chartered Appoints M&A Head for Korea
London-headquartered Standard Chartered has named a seasoned investment banker as its head of mergers and acquisitions for Korea.
Standard Chartered has appointed Ryan Younghun Song as head of M&A, Korea, according to a statement. Based in Seoul, he reports to Rajesh Singhi, global head, cleantech & environment, diversified industries, and oil, gas & chemicals, M&A advisory, as well as Yong Kwan Kwon, CEO, Standard Chartered Securities Korea and head of capital markets, Korea.
Song has more than 20 years of investment banking experience, having advised clients across a broad range of transactions across public and private buy-side and sell-side mandates, including cross-border deals. Previously, he worked at Bank of America, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan and Shinhan Investment.
