Knight Frank Taps Seasoned Asia Pacific Finance Leader

Knight Frank has strengthened its Asia-Pacific leadership bench with the appointment of a veteran finance executive, signalling a sharper focus on disciplined growth, operational efficiency, and cross-market execution.

The global property consultancy has named Knight Frank Priscilla Rotgans as chief financial officer (CFO) for Asia-Pacific, effective immediately, according to a media release issued on Friday.

Based in Singapore, she will report to Craig Shute, CEO, Asia-Pacific, while working closely with Sarah Mussenden, Group CFO in London. Rotgans will also join the Asia-Pacific regional board.

In her new role, Rotgans will act as a strategic partner to business leaders across the region, helping align financial discipline with expansion priorities. Her remit spans performance management, cost optimisation, and investment decision-making – areas that have become increasingly critical as property firms balance growth opportunities with margin protection across diverse markets.

Two decades of regional and cross-market expertise

Rotgans brings more than 20 years of senior financial leadership experience in Asia-Pacific. Most recently, she served as CFO for Asia-Pacific at Jones Lang LaSalle from 2021 to 2025.

Her career spans Greater China, India, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia – markets with differing regulatory regimes, capital flows, and client dynamics, demanding a nuanced and adaptable finance approach.

What it Signals for Investors and Clients

For financially savvy observers, the appointment underscores Knight Frank’s intent to sharpen capital allocation, reinforce governance, and sustain growth in a region where market conditions vary widely.

With Rotgans at the finance helm, the firm appears well positioned to balance growth initiatives with operational efficiency as Asia–Pacific property markets continue to evolve .
