Eastspring's Distribution Chief Takes on Expanded Role

Eastspring's chief distribution officer executive has been appointed to an expanded role.

Eastspring Investments has appointed Salman Haider as head of ASEAN and CEO of Eastspring Singapore, subject to regulatory approval, according to a statement. This marks an expansion of his responsibilities in addition to his existing role as chief distribution officer. Based in Singapore, he will continue to report to Bill Maldonado, CEO of Eastspring Investments Group.

Haider has more than 25 years of experience across wealth management, retail banking, corporate banking and global markets. Prior to joining Eastspring in March 2024, he worked at Citi, J.P. Morgan, Barclays Private Bank and Habib Bank AG.

Operating since 1994, Eastspring Investments is the Asia-based asset management arm of British insurer Prudential. As of 31 December 2024, it managed $258 billion of assets on behalf of institutional and retail clients.
