Many former Credit Suisse employees continue to find new homes, including the fallen Swiss bank’s ex-head of Asia FX trading.

Youngmin Cho has joined Morgan Stanley’s Singapore office as an emerging markets FX and rates trader, according to a report by job portal «efinancialcareers».

Cho was most recently the head of Asia FX trading at Credit Suisse, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he also worked at Nomura and Deutsche Bank in South Korea.

Following the takeover in June, UBS is now looking to restructure various parts of Credit Suisse, including the investment banking unit which is now the point of focus for downsizing. In Asia, two-thirds of staff are expected to be offloaded, mainly in markets outside of Hong Kong, with new regional leadership recently unveiled.
