Natixis Investment Managers hired an ex-PineBridge exec as its head of institutional sales for Hong Kong and Macau.

Herman Chan joins Natixis Investment Managers in the new Hong Kong-based, according to a statement, reporting to Gina Huang managing director and head of China. Chan will be responsible for leading and managing institutional client services and sales for the two markets and support client coverage in the region.

He has over 12 years of financial services experience and was most recently with PineBridge Investments as a vice president of strategy and business development. Previously, he had also worked with the likes of HSBC, UBS, PwC and KPMG.

«[Chan’s] extensive experience in private assets and business development, particularly with insurers, combined with our strong line up of actively managed investment managers, will help to accelerate our growth with Institutional clients in the region,» said Fabrice Chemouny, Natixis Investment Manager’s head of Asia Pacific, underlining a key client segment.
