The world’s least affordable housing market breaks rental records again after setting the last one just two months ago.

The house is located in Hong Kong’s top district Victoria Peak and yielded a whopping HK$1.6 million ($206,000) of monthly rental, according to local media reports citing unidentified sources.

Locate on 73 Mount Kellet Road, the luxury home boasts five bedrooms, a private elevator and a 7,000 square feet garden.

Breaking Records (Again)

Despite ongoing concerns about Hong Kong’s global hub status, its real estate market continues to demonstrate resilience, especially amongst its wealthiest tenants.

The latest rental record tops the last one made in March when a 10,804 square feet home was leased for HK$1.35 million per month.

And one month before that, the city set the record for Asia’s priciest high-end property sold at HK$459 million.
