HSBC launched a new digital concierge service for its high net worth clients in Singapore hoping to make the ties to their bank even stronger thanks to the additional service offering.

The digital platform concierge «HSBC Jade» was developed by Ten Lifestyle Group. It provides the services of some 600 lifestyle managers in 26 languages, HSBC said in a statement on Thursday.

Customers who deposit at least S$1.2 million in cash and or in investments with HSBC qualify for personalized investment solutions and advisory services, as well as the global concierge facility.

Highly Successful

The concierge service claims it can get reservations at the most sought-after restaurants around the globe and has a 92 percent success rate in securing hard-to-get tickets for sport, music, and the arts.

«With HSBC Jade we are bringing features traditionally associated with private banks, including concierge and world-class wealth management services, to a wider range of customers,» said Anurag Mathur, HSBC Singapore’s head of retail banking and wealth management.

Pivot to Asia

The bank anticipates more wealth growth in the region and HSBC CEO John Flint recently outlined plans to invest $15 billion to $17 billion in its technology and business across Asia.

In Southeast Asia, Flint aims to increase HSBC's wealth business and expand the insurance and asset management offering. He is targeting revenue growth of $1 billion-plus from the ASEAN region by 2020.
