Adams Street Appoints Asia Head of Investor Relations
US private markets firm Adams Street has announced a promotion to the role of head of investor relations for Asia.
Adams Street Partners has promoted Chris Cho, partner, investor relations, to the role of head of investor relations (Asia), according to a statement, based in Hong Kong where the firm opened a new office in November 2025. In the role, he will lead the regional investor relations strategy and client engagement efforts across Asia Pacific, excluding Japan. He succeeds Ben Hart, who will be departing after ten years with the firm.
Cho joined Adams Street in 2017 and has played a central role in building the institutional investor base in Korea. Since then, he and his team have raised $2.18 billion from 37 Korean institutional investors. Across APAC, Adams Street has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Sydney, with 169 clients representing $18.9 billion in assets under management (AUM).
