J.P. Morgan PB Nabs Ex-Bridgewater Strategist for Top Role

The private banking arm of J.P. Morgan has hired a former Bridgewater Associates executive to lead investment strategy in Asia.

J.P. Morgan Private Bank has appointed Joshua Lewin as a managing director and head of investment strategy, Asia, according to a LinkedIn update. Based in Hong Kong, he will lead investment strategy and deliver market insights and portfolio guidance to clients across the region.

Lewin has 15 years of asset experience, most recently as a portfolio strategist at Bridgewater Associates, a hedge fund founded by billionaire investor Ray Dalio.
