Edmond de Rothschild Nets Ex-Nomura Banker in Dubai
Geneva-based Edmond de Rothschild has hired a former Nomura executive to lead its investment advisory function in Dubai.
Edmond de Rothschild has appointed Hamza Hamza as head of investment advisory in Dubai and also a member of the bank's Exclusive Advisory team, according to a statement. In the role, he reports to Xavier Rives, head of advisory Switzerland.
Hamza has more than 19 years of international experience in capital markets, investments and private banking, most recently as investment advisor, executive director, at Nomura since 2023. Prior to that, he held senior investment advisory roles at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, Standard Chartered Private Bank and Coutts in Dubai and London
