Standard Chartered Nets Former BOS Banker
A former Bank of Singapore executive has joined Standard Chartered to focus on building a new team to cover the Greater China market.
Standard Chartered Global Private Bank has appointed Hu Hong as a group market head, focused on building and growing a new Greater China team in Singapore, according to a statement. In the role, he reports to Foo Tian Ong, regional head, Southeast Asia and Singapore location head, Standard Chartered Global Private Bank.
Hu is a seasoned private banking veteran with experience covering the Greater China markets. He was most recently working at Bank of Singapore, where he managed three market heads and a team of 100 frontline staff.
