StanChart GPB Appoints North Asia Advisory Head
The private banking arm of Standard Chartered has named a new head of investment advisory for Greater China and North Asia.
Standard Chartered has appointed Peter Horng as head of investment advisory and product advisory, private banking, Greater China and North Asia, according to a statement.
Horng has over 25 years of wealth management experience, most recently at DBS where he was its Hong Kong head of investment products and advisory. Previously, he also worked at Citibank, HSBC and UBS in New York and Hong Kong.

Horng succeeds Muska Chiu who has taken up a new role as team lead at the private bank to advise ultra-wealthy clients.
Chiu has more than 20 years of investment and product advisory experience. In the last two years, he led the bank’s investment advisory team for the Greater China and North Asia regions.
