StanChart Appoints CEO of China Securities Unit
Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of a new boss for its mainland China securities arm.
Standard Chartered Securities (China) Limited (SCSCL) – the China securities arm of Standard Chartered’s Hong Kong banking unit – has appointed Jim Wang as CEO, according to a statement. He will be tasked with overseeing the company’s overall operations and report to its board of directors.
Wang has 20 years of experience spanning securities, asset management and banking, serving in senior management roles at several leading financial institutions both domestically and internationally.
