Prudential Shifts Leadership Structure Following C-Suite Exit
British insurer Prudential has announced changes to its leadership structure following the departure of a regional chief.
Prudential regional CEO John Cai will leave on October 31 for personal reasons, according to a statement. As a result, regional CEO Naveen Tahilyani will expand his remit to include responsibility for the Southeast Asian markets of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, along with India and Africa. He will also have functional leadership for the agency and health.
In addition, Dennis Tan, regional CEO for Singapore, Thailand and partnership distribution, will have additional responsibility for Vietnam as well as the Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar cluster. The responsibilities for Angel Ng, regional CEO for Greater China, customer, wealth and product, remain unchanged.
