BOS Adds Pair of Greater China Relationship Managers
OCBC’s private banking arm has expanded its Greater China coverage with the hire of two new relationship managers.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Che Yan and Hank Chen as senior relationship managers within the team of Irene Wat, market head of Greater China, according to a statement.
Che has nearly 20 years of experience in cross-border finance with a focus on corporate banking, syndicated loans and ultra-high net worth client management. She was most recently the co-head of private banking and head of cross-border business department at China Minsheng Bank.
Chen has close to 25 years of experience servicing high net worth and institutional clients. He was previously an executive director and relationship manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s China team.
Hong Kong Branch Growth
Bank of Singapore’s Hong Kong branch continues to undergo expansion after increasing its relationship manager headcount by almost 30 percent last year and surpassing its client asset growth of 50 percent for the 2024-2026 period more than a year ahead of time.
«We are always on the lookout for talent, and we’re delighted to welcome Yan and Hank to the family. Their appointments reflect our continued success in attracting experienced, quality talent who are excited to be part of our growth journey, reaffirming the strength and appeal of our brand,» said Rickie Chan, Bank of Singapore’s Greater China head of private banking and Hong Kong branch chief.
