Sun Life Names Asia Bancassurance Chief
Toronto-based Sun Life has announced the appointment of a chief bancassurance officer for Asia, based in Singapore.
Sun Life has appointed Anshuman Das as chief bancassurance officer, Asia, according to a statement, effective November 3. He will be tasked with leading the insurer's Asia bancassurance strategy while working closely with the senior leadership team across the region to drive the distribution function. Based in Singapore, he will report to David Broom, chief client and distribution officer, Asia.
Das has 15 years of experience in insurance and consumer banking, most recently as an executive director within DBS’ regional bancassurance team. Previously, he also worked at HSBC Life, Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank.
