HSBC's Ex-Asia Wealth Planning Head Joins Lioner

A former senior executive from HSBC’s private banking division has joined Chinese wealth consortium Lioner.

Lioner has appointed Henry Lam as group strategic advisor, according to a statement. In the role, he will provide senior counsel for the firm on long-term growth, market expansion, service innovation and complex wealth structuring.

Lam has more than 30 years of experience in wealth planning, family governance and trust advisory. He was most recently regional head of wealth planning and advisory, APAC at HSBC Private Bank. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse for similar roles.

«Henry’s appointment reflects the growing demand from our clients for deep, strategic advisory expertise in today’s increasingly complex wealth landscape,» commented Andrew Chan, partner at Lioner. «As we continue to scale across Asia and beyond, bringing in senior leaders like Henry – who brings exceptional foresight and decades of experience in wealth planning – strengthens our ability to deliver truly integrated, client-centric solutions.»
