Wealth Consortium Lioner Appoints Hong Kong GM
Chinese wealth planning consortium Lioner has hired a 20-year veteran as its general manager for Hong Kong.
Lioner has appointed Gary Mak as general manager, Hong Kong, according to a statement. In the role, he will oversee the firm’s Hong Kong operations, driving sales strategy, commercial execution and advisor engagement across the firm’s wealth structuring platform, which includes insurance, trust and family office advisory services. He will also play a pivotal role in scaling presence across Asia and rolling out AI-driven solutions.
Mak has over 20 years of senior leadership experience, most recently as head of brokerage at Fubon Life (Hong Kong). Previously, he also worked at ACE Life, AXA, MetLife and New York Life.
