Ex-Eastspring Portfolio Manager Joins PineBridge
New York-headquartered PineBridge has hired a former Eastspring portfolio manager to join its Asia equities team in Singapore.
PineBridge Investments has appointed Katerina Irwan as senior vice president, Asia Equities, according to statement. Based in Singapore, she will work within the firm’s equities fundamental team to formulate investment strategies to enhance investment outcomes, alongside strengthening investment, risk control processes and client maintenance.
Irwan has more than 18 years of experience in fundamental equity research and portfolio management, particularly in Asia Pacific ex-Japan markets. She joins from Eastspring Investments, where she last served as co-lead equity portfolio manager, overseeing more than $2 billion in assets across Asia Pacific ex-Japan income and real estate strategies.
Expanding Capabilities
According to PineBridge, the firm has been expanding its Asia equity capabilities across portfolio management and research with seven new hires over the past 18 months.
