First Sentier Appoints New CEO
Mitsubishi UFJ’s Australian asset management arm First Sentier has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer.
First Sentier Group has appointed Harry Moore as CEO, according to a statement, effective 1 January 2026. He succeeds Mark Steinberg who has decided to step down after seven years with the Australian asset manager and subsidiary of Tokyo-based Mitsubishi UFJ.
Moore first joined Sydney-headquartered First Sentier in 2010 and was named managing director of Australia, New Zealand and Japan in 2019. Since January 2025, he has been chief commercial officer, overseeing responsible investment, product management, investments business management and the First Sentier Investors’ investment teams in Australia and Asia.
