QBE Unveils Leaders for Asia Growth
QBE is strengthening its Asia leadership team with two senior appointments, signalling its ambitions for growth and transformation across the region.
QBE has appointed Stephen Geisler as CEO of South Asia, effective 23 September, according to a media release on Tuesday. Based in Singapore, he will head QBE Singapore and oversee QBE Malaysia. He succeeds Ronak Shah, who recently took on the role of CEO of Wholesale Markets Asia.
Geisler joins from QBE’s headquarters in Australia, where he has spent more than 35 years with the company. His career spans multiple functions and markets, with extensive expertise in underwriting across both global and Asian markets. In his new role, he will drive business strategy, lead underwriting teams, and guide sustainable growth in South Asia.
QBE Asia is the Asian regional business of Sydney-based QBE Insurance Group, one of the world’s leading international insurers.
