First Sentier Investors Names Financial and Strategy Chief
Sydney-based First Sentier Investors has announced the appointment of a 25-year veteran as financial and strategy chief.
First Sentier Investors has appointed Ashley Conn as chief financial and strategy officer, according to a statement, based in Sydney. He succeeds Noel O’Brien who held the role on an interim basis following the departure of Suzanne Evans earlier this year.
Conn has over 25 years of experience, joining from Super Retail Group where he served as the interim general manager of group finance. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer at ASX-listed McMillan Shakespeare and CSG. Previously, he also held investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, specializing in mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity capital raising.
