PineBridge has announced the appointment of a head of intermediary distribution for APAC and EMEA.

PineBridge Investments appoints Nicolas Kopitsis as head of intermediary distribution for APAC and EMEA, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s intermediary business strategy and distribution to private banks, family offices, retail banks, insurers and distribution platforms with a focus on UK, Switzerland and key Asian markets.

Kopitsis has more than 20 years of intermediary experience in Europe and Asia. He joined PineBridge in 2021 as head of wealth management for Asia and prior to that, he was Asia ex-Japan head of intermediary distribution for BNY Mellon in Singapore. 

Next Growth Phase

According to chief revenue officer and head of global client group Sergio Ramirez, PineBridge saw its assets under management grow 50 percent in the past five years. As of 30 September 2023, the firm managed $155.2 billion globally across asset classes.

«As we set our sights on the next phase of growth, we acknowledge the important role of the intermediary channel, especially private banks, in driving our continued expansion,» Ramirez said.
