The fixed income arm of Prudential’s asset management unit has announced the appointment of a new client advisor for the South Korean market.

PGIM Fixed Income expanded its Asia Pacific ex-Japan client advisory group with the appointment of SooHee Lee as vice president, client advisor, according to a statement.  

Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Helen Chang, managing director and head of APAC ex-Japan. In the role, Lee will be responsible for growing the firm’s institutional sales and client relationships in South Korea.

Lee was most recently head of institutional business at SEI Investments in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was a director and head of business development at Amundi Asset Management. Previously, he also held senior positions at Samsung Asset Management, Samsung Securities and SK Corporation.
